They say “If a shoe fits, buy a matching outfit”; Well, I do almost the same thing. Not the part about buying but yes I plan my outfits around the shoes I will be wearing on most days, if not all. And I don’t shy away from buying statement shoes. Because to me they aren’t anything else but maybe a piece of art, a storyteller, something that speaks maybe only to me (and definitely not to the husband or some friends that I go shopping with, I get all such weird faces trust me) But despite that, I manage to always listen to my heart and go for it. Because they also say, Why be so vanilla when you can be Ben and Jerry’s choco fudge or how like the pretty woman once said Crème brulee can never be jello.
